Please note the following important information:

Entrance & exit at night

Please inform yourself at the reception before going out.

Parking place

Please do not park your car on the sidewalk in front of the house! Parking spaces are available opposite the hotel. If they are all occupied, you are welcome to park in front of the garages or on our parking spaces in Breitscheidstraße. Please follow the signs P1 to P4.

"Please do not disturb"

After the room cleaning our house lady checks all rooms again, because we want to make sure that you always find a neat room. Sometimes this tour can be delayed until the afternoon. If you no longer wish to be disturbed, please put the "Please do not disturb" sign on the outside of the room door. If you are still missing something, simply contact the reception desk. If you should find a defect in your room, please let us know so that we can correct it as quickly as possible.

Safety instructions

Smoking is not allowed in the rooms. Ironing, the use of heating pads, electric heaters or the burning of candles is forbidden in the rooms for fire safety reasons.

In the event of an accident, please contact the reception desk or call +49 (0) 36842 52990 at night.

In case of fire you will be warned by a loud siren via our fire alarm system. Leave the house via one of the staircases. The escape routes are marked.

You will find our hotel bar in the turret, on the ground floor. Our barkeeper will spoil you daily from 17:00 with an aperitif before dinner or you can let the evening come to an end in a cosy atmosphere.

German Rail

The nearest train station is in Zella-Mehlis, about 10 km from the hotel. There is a regular bus service between the bus station and the DB station. The bus timetables are available at the reception. DB information (general information): 0180 599 66 33.

Lost and found

If you find any objects in the hotel area, please hand them in at the reception. We will also be happy to help you if you have lost something yourself or are missing something. On request, we will gladly send the lost and found items to your home.

In our wellness area, in front of the massage room, you will find a water dispenser with fresh water purified by spring stones. Hot water is available in the hot drink dispenser in the library.

Here Oberhof offers numerous possibilities. Information is available at the reception desk or on our info boards on the ground floor, in the Schlossbergrestaurant area. With your Oberhof Card you can take advantage of free leisure activities at any time or receive discounted prices. More information under "Oberhof Card".

Breakfast

Our rich breakfast buffet is served daily from 07:00 to 11:00 am. If you would like to have breakfast earlier, please inform us at the reception. Please make an appointment the day before.

Visitor's tax

Oberhof is a state-approved health resort and therefore subject to cure export. The visitor's tax is € 2.00 for adults and € 1.00 for children per day. You will receive the Oberhof Card. With the guest card you can enjoy numerous extra services. See "Oberhof Card".

Pets

In some rooms & in our Dependance "Sonnenhügel" pets can be brought along, after previous arrangement, to the price of € 15.00 per night. Please be considerate of the other guests, many people are afraid or allergic to animal hair. Dogs are not allowed in our restaurants. Dog owners are fully liable for contamination and damage caused by the pet.

Vouchers

Are you still looking for a gift? Give away valuable holiday pleasures. We will gladly issue you with a voucher for individual services, a certain value or one of our hotel offers.

You can find our massage offers at our wellness offers. Please make an appointment at the reception in good time.

Internet

You can use WLAN in our hotel free of charge after confirmation of the terms of use, a password is not required. However, 100% coverage cannot be guaranteed.

H2Oberhof wellness bath

Just a few metres away, opposite our hotel, you will find the H2Oberhof wellness spa. With your Oberhof Card you receive a 20% discount on the standard admission prices. An indoor and outdoor swimming pool invite you to take a dip. In summer, the large sunbathing lawn attracts sun-seeking guests. The highlight is the sauna world with eight different saunas and a wonderful sauna garden.

Half board

If you have reserved with half board, we expect you from 18:00 o'clock for dinner. We serve a daily changing 3-course menu with a variety of choices. Please arrive by 20:00 at the latest. Our restaurants also invite you to linger after dinner. If you have not yet booked half board, you can make up for it at any time. Price: € 23 per person & day. We are always anxious to create you a varied menu. If we should not meet your taste at all, please let us know. If you are still hungry, you are also welcome to get a second helping of the offered dishes. Please inform us also in case of allergies or intolerances. Shoes

In the foyer of the wine tavern there is a shoe polishing machine. You can also clean your hiking boots in the drying room with a protective plaster set.

On arrival you will receive your personal Oberhof Card. It is valid from the day of arrival up to and including the day of departure. With the Oberhof Card you have the opportunity to participate in the guest program of the Oberhof Information and enjoy many other advantages.
