Our restaurant in the hotel

At the Schlossberghotel, our evening menus are served in our restaurant in several rooms with different ambiences. We open the rooms of our restaurant according to occasion and need for meals, celebrations or meetings. Our enthusiastic kitchen crew will be happy to conjure up a fantastic meal on your plate and thus put a smile on your face.

We spoil you in our restaurant with a balanced and fresh cuisine, of course typical Thuringian dishes must not be missing. Theme menus offer you culinary variety. Please note when planning your trip: we do not offer classic "á la carte" cuisine. We recommend that you book half board in advance, especially during the high season.

Our large buffet in the Stübchen offers even more possibilities to start the day with a gourmet breakfast. A large selection of pastries, sausage and cheese specialities, egg dishes and warm dishes, fresh fruit and vegetables and much more.

Dinner & Half Board at Schlossberghotel Oberhof

As part of our half-board service, we serve a daily changing tasty three-course or four-course menu of choice.

At a special price from € 28 per person, we offer our popular menus to all our overnight guests who opt for half board for the duration of their stay. You can always choose from a selection of several starters, main courses and desserts, sometimes in combination with our popular starter & dessert buffet, to create "your" favourite menu.

Half board is already included in most of our hotel offers. The offers also offer you a price advantage at the same time. Interested?

We serve our Thuringian cuisine in the Winter Garden restaurant.

"Salon im Türmchen"

Our new salon in the Türmchen invites you to linger for a chat with your partner or friends since September 2020. Enjoy the evening with a delicious glass of wine. In the salon we are also happy to serve our romantic candlelight dinner in the glow of candles and the flickering light of our glass fireplace. 

Kaminstube

The cosy fireplace lounge is for special hours for two. You sit in a cosy atmosphere by the open fireplace. Here we often also serve our famous candlelight dinner (depending on occupancy, no guaranteed seating in the Kaminstube). Our couples who have booked the "Cuddle Days for Lovers" offer enjoy being pampered in the Kaminstube.

Our bartender will spoil you in our HotelBar in the Türmchen. Open daily from 17:00. Enjoy your aperitif before dinner, or let the evening come to an end in the cosy ambience. We have put together Thuringian specialities and numerous favourite drinks of our guests in our bar menu.

Schlossberghotel Oberhof Sun Terrace | Hotel in Oberhof
On the sunny side of our hotel, our outdoor terrace "Sonnendeck" offers you time to relax and enjoy in summer - depending on the weather. From 08:00 in the morning until 22:00 in the evening, we open our restaurant "Sonnendeck" during the warm months. Enjoy an ice cream or relax on a balmy summer evening after your extensive hike.
