The largest botanical garden of alpine flora offers you more than 4,000 different plants from the high mountains of the world. Breathtaking views over the Thuringian Forest await you on the approximately 1 km long circular path.
Then head off on an excursion to the Schneekopf, Thuringia's highest mountain peak. Either on foot on an approx. 11 km long hike or by car. Once you reach the top, be sure to take a break at the Gehlberger Hütte. Then visit one of the traditional glassblowers in the Oberhof holiday region.
